PW Ceasefire don’t have a website so no dedicated accessibility page, but they have plenty of information available on their Twitter timeline, which is regularly reposted before shows.

    Any other info:

Accessibility clearly matters alot to PW Ceasefire, and is embedded in the way they run their shows. They post plenty of information about venue accessibility to social media in the run up to shows, including the closest accessible travel options. So far, they’ve only run fully accessible venues too.

If you have any worries or questions, then definitley reach out to speak to them via DM on Twitter. Pretty sure they’ll do everything they can to help.

    Venues:

    The Y Theatre

    Accessible tickets offered?

    No

    Carer tickets provided?

    No

    Easy to contact?

Very. Head over to their Twitter or drop them an email and you should get a quick and comprehensive reply.

    Website Accessibility Page:

No dedicated accessibility page but they do include extensive information on every event page, which covers everything you need to know about the venue plus what to expect during the show itself. This even includes how busy they expect the local area to be before the show!

    Any other info:

Resurgence care about accessibility, and you can tell. As well as the information on the events pages, they put out incredibly comprehensive tweets about accessibility in the run up to shows to get the information to the widest possible audience.

Accessible entry is 10 mins before general entry, to make the process as stress-free as possible.

Also at the show, they also provide a printed recap/run down that covers what to expect, match order and history to give the best possible experience.

In May 2025 they collaborated with the 1623 Theatre Company to create a wrestling-theatre hybrid show that integrated BSL and audio descriptions into the show to create an inclusive experience. We think this heavily underlines their dedication to accesibility, and the effort they put into being as accessible as possible.

If you have any questions or concerns ahead of a Wrestling Resurgence show, we’re confident they’ll do what they can to answer them quickly.

    We’ve not heard good things.

    Notes:

To book an accessible ticket, you’ll need an Access card. Instructions on the process of booking accessible tickets is detailed helpfully on the website, here.

BSL interpreters are available, but you need to organise that at least 28 days in advance.

You can only take in bags smaller than A4 in size, and food and drink aren’t permitted to be taken in.

    What people told us:

“Entrance organisation is AWFUL. Venue staff are criminally unhelpful. The queues upon door time were just insane. It took me over an hour to get into the arena. I’d queued for 45 minutes already when the only help I was given was from the ‘Fan Angels’ who literally grabbed me out of the queue and took me to the front and right through security in intense leg pain.

There is no disabled queue jump for ambulant disabled people with regular seats. Disabled seating places are so limited, it’s crazy. They essentially make you give up personal details (on their website) to even get considered for ‘disabled access status’ at the Arena, which you have to apply for well in advance!

The stairs inside are steep and shallow. There’s also a hell of a lot of them. Barely accessible on crutches or if you’re wobbly. “
